Barbara A. Duffy, R.N., senior strategist, is a highly experienced pediatric executive with a proven track record in hospital operations, staffing and organizational development. She served as a senior executive at two children’s hospitals where she was responsible for oversight of all hospital operations, developed partnerships with adult providers for pediatric specialty services, strengthened medical staff relationships, and reorganized senior management staff. Barbara has worked on consulting projects with HS&S for a number of major pediatric clients, including ambulatory care and space planning for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and strategic planning for the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey’s department of pediatrics and Children’s Hospital of Omaha. Barbara has been an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Medical Group Management Association, and has served on the steering committee for the National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions (NACHRI).
